It takes ZERO dollars to be kind.

I mean, the answer is yes, but I wish it wasn’t.
And because I never post anything without it convicting me first, I have to confess this is my new smartphone lock screen reminder.

I’m fairly kind on the outside, but I have a serious case of mean girl dialogue in my head on the daily. That girl could use a talking to.
So, I’m talking to myself.
It’s mostly insecurity for me, and I get stuck in that comparison mind game, and then my inner Regina George comes out. Don’t lie.. you have one too. We all do. And I’ll tell you what… our insecure Regina George needs this just as much as anyone.
Reminding myself that it costs me absolutely nothing to be kind. To myself. To my husband. To my children. To my team of SeneGence ladies. To my church family.

That teacher who has been loving on your children for 6-8 weeks could use some kindness. Volunteer in her class, and when you go, bring a some of that chocolate stash you have hiding in your house. Free. 😉
That pastor who works day in and day out could use a concentrated dose of your prayers. Send him a message to let him know you prayed for him. Without any agenda. Free. 😉
That young mom who hasn’t slept in 1 MILLION years could us some kindness. Head over to her house, let her go take a nap, or a bath. Watch the babies. Put some toys away. Throw some dishes in the dishwasher. Free.
That high schooler who may not have the best home life could use a popcorn and movie night over at your house. Let her pick the movie. Share a big bowl of fresh popcorn. Love on her fiercely. Free.
