Free Printable – All of me loves all of you.
Tell me you love this song. Please. And also, I just totally teared up watching that video. And.. I need to learn how to play the violin, and get some dang canopy lights up in here.
If you haven’t guessed by now, I do love that song. It’s real. It ain’t full of cheese. The song doesn’t talk about how perfect the other person is. It explains love the way I think it’s meant to be. You are messed up. I am messed up. But we love each other’s crazy anyways.
Here’s the other thing. I don’t know if you’ve met me, but I’m not a little woman. I am fluffy, and sometimes that fluff gets me down. When Todd and I were first married, for the first couple of years, I would sometimes lament my body shape. Who I am kidding, I still do. But, his response each and every time?
Babe, I love all of you.
I would smile, and hug him, but I didn’t realize what a gift that was to me. And then a jillion years later.. John Legend wrote a song saying the same thing. I mean… right?
Listen, I know John isn’t talking about loving an overweight woman.. but my husband was. And my husband still does. Confidence in a relationship is knowing you are doing the best you can, you aren’t there yet, you may never be, but you still have the love of your Person.
Whenever I hear this song on the radio, even the remix version, I turn it up, and I think of my husband. It makes me want to kiss him. A lot. And tell him thank you. And I don’t know if you’ve met my husband, but he’s into kissing me, so that’s pretty sweet.
And so this morning, I made this.
I am going to print and frame this for his office. It is us. It is what God has been shaping and molding, in us, all this time.
On the off chance that any of you readers may love the meaning behind these words, I’m gifting this printable to you as well. It is sized 8.5×11, so you can just print this up on your home printer. Hang on your wall with some decorative washi tape and call it good. 🙂
Frame it. Hang it. Read it. Even if you are not there yet in your world, it can be a hopeful thing to remind yourself of daily.
And, babe? I love all of you too.
