Welp.. at the beginning of the year, I mentioned I was going to upload these wallpapers. Every week! Without fail! For accountability!!
We can imagine how that went.
Listen.. I am a good starter. I start lots and lots and lots of things. Finishing isn’t my strong suit. So the fact that I am actually posting the final scripture memory verse for the year? On time-ish? I mean.. that’s a big deal.
I firmly believe in the power of God’s Word. I firmly believe that repeating His truth kicks out the lies we have heard, formed, and been led into believing. I just don’t always follow through on the memorization part. Having the wallpaper on my phone has helped me. A lot.
I cheated a little this year by hitting up Pinterest, and searching for the verses I wanted to use. Sometimes, I would even screen shot, and just use that as my wallpaper, if time failed to allow me the minutes to create my own. If you read this blog, and ever think my goal is perfection, you probably should stop reading.
As a recovering perfectionist, I declare, and often, that perfection isn’t attainable. For me and for you.. STOP.TRYING.
So.. next year. I plan on doing the wallpaper verses again. Maybe I will post with more frequency, maybe not. I cannot make any promises. š That dang perfection thing. Ain’t gonna happen on my watch.
Here is my final verse. It’s been a year, yes?
To use, screenshot with your smartphone, and it will be added to your camera roll. Go into settings, and choose the image to use as lock screen, wallpaper, or both. š
