Weekly Meal Plan for Whole30
I am asked every week if I can come over and cook something for someone, or if I can write up a meal plan.
And trust me.. all of these things I would really really really like to have the energy to do, but I barely have the energy to cook for my people… you feel me, mammas?
But, I thought I would start posting my meal plans so you can take some hints and tips and make it work for your family.
Our weekends are crazy busy with church, so it will cover Monday thru Friday, and I will also include links to recipes that I may have used. For a typical week, I will shop the ads and see what is on sale, and then plan according to my family’s tastes. You will notice we ate a lot of red meat this week, but last week it was mainly chicken. And over the weeks you will see that my fam is pretty simple and we eat the same thing a lot. Do what works, friends! 🙂

Monday – Grassfed Bunless Burgers with Bacon and Raw Veggies
Tuesday – Grilled Steak Lettuce Tacos with Guacamole, and Cilantro Lime Sauce
Wednesday – Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Roasted Carrots, and Potatoes
Thursday – Buffalo Drumsticks with WholeSisters Dumpranch Salad Dressing, and Veggies
Friday – Beef Stew in the Instant Pot
Recipe Tips –
Grilled Steak Tacos –
I seared the steak on medium high with taco seasoning, garlic, and lime juice for about 5 minutes per side. I let it rest and then cut it into big chunks, and drizzled with a touch of sea salt, and more lime.
Cilantro Lime Sauce –
Simliar to the dumpranch recipe, I just blended everything in the blender. I used 1 whole bunch of cilantro, 3 green onions, and lime juice, and (don’t shoot me) a tablespoon of good mayo. It just makes the dressing come together.
Pot Roast –
I omit the flour, tomato paste and wine, and use what herbs/spices I have on hand, but this recipe is a good starting point for beginners. I also make my own broth in my pressure cooker, so I usually have that on hand to use.
Buffalo Drumsticks –
I season the drumsticks with garlic powder, salt and pepper, and then I brush on our favorite hot sauce. We like Frank’s. Cook for an hour at 375, and those puppies will be crisp and delish. Optional delightfulness.. melt a few tablespoons of good quality butter and brush over the top after they are done cooking. Yum.
